At Trafficca we have rail trained and ready traffic controllers who are able to work within and around the rail corridor. Our experience has been from major projects; South Morang Rail Upgrade, Springvale Rd rail separation project, Regional Rail Project, Mitcham Rooks Rail.
Controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic within the rail sector brings a range of challengers to traffic management planning and implementation. The rail network with the interaction of trains, commuters and signalling need to be addressed and managed along with local pedestrians and vehicular traffic. Our strategy and traffic management team work closely with interested parties in delivery trouble free traffic management control services.
From the major project of the Regional Rail Link to the smaller grade separation of the Mitcham Rooks Rail in Melbourne Trafficca has gained valuable traffic management experience in the delivery of successful traffic management services to rail, road and pedestrian. Trafficca's traffic controller employees have completed specific traffic management rail training modules to allow them access to the rail corridor to complete the required traffic management control services.
Trafficca has a large fleet of traffic control vehicles to cater for all situations, the smaller sized equipment was used in and around the crowded areas of the rail projects to lessen the impact and increase the successful deployment of traffic control services. Some two thousand traffic bollards were deployed over the projects along with pedestrian barriers and an arrays of signage to control pedestrian traffic. VMS boards along with Arrow boards were used to notify and warn users of hazards and closures. Countless signs and traffic devices were deployed to control vehicular traffic.
